Sumo Nagoya Basho 2013 Day 6

Sumo Nagoya Basho 2013 Day 6

J11e    Tanzo (3-2)  vs J13w    Endo (4-1)
Endo had a good grip and the right angle to get Tanzo out easy.

J14e    Yoshiazuma (2-3)  vs    J11w    Takanoyama (1-4)
Tak lost bad here and looked like a kid going up against an adult.

J12w    Wakakoyu (4-1) vs J9w     Osunaarashi (3-2)
Waka lost here and may have been injured. He was only using one foot and one footed sumo never works. Osuna worked the belt and the side to side to win.

Tochinowaka vs Tamaasuka
Tochino was too far upright here and was in trouble all match. He got forced out and lost his 1st place holding.
M15e    Wakanosato (2-3)  vs   M13w    Jokoryu (3-2)
Jo went for a throw, slipped and Waka countered for an easy win. Jokoryu isn't looking good this tournament.

O1e     Kisenosato (3-2)  vs M2w     Gagamaru (0-5)

Gaga pushed and went way off balance to lose easy here.
M1w     Takayasu (3-2)  vs    O2w     Kotooshu (5-0)
If you don't like Kotooshu, this was a moment of beauty. Koto went for a lame side step, went so slow that Taka saw it a mile away and Taka pushed him down. A well deserved ending for Koto's undefeated record. Koto earned his dirt sandwich here.

O2e     Kakuryu (3-2)  vs S1w     Goeido (1-4)

Goeido slipped and lost easy here.
M3w     Aminishiki (1-4) vs  O1w     Kotoshogiku (5-0)

Aminishiki got a very dirty win with a henka. Look, if you wanna pull this junk off people who are 1-4 fine, but Koto had a shot, a long shot at winning this and he's probably out now. Aminishiki had little to gain here.
Y1e     Hakuho (5-0) vs  K1e     Shohozan (1-4)

Shohozan lost quick via a slip and a pull from Haku.

M2e     Tochiozan (3-2)  vs Y1w     Harumafuji (4-1)

Harumafuji grabbed the belt and behind Tochi and threw him down for an easy win/
