WWE NXT 5/1/2013 Results and Review

Last week's show is here: http://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2013/04/wwe-nxt-clash-of-champions-4252013.html

Primo and Epico vs Luke Harper and Erick Rowan vs Adrian Neville and Bo Dallas

"Bo knows intensity." - Dawson | "Bo knows how to eat a lot of sugar before he comes out." - Maddox

"How is that miserable old trout slapper nowadays?" - Regal inquiring about Vickie
"Tony, is your dad's name Richard Dawson? There is a strong resemblance." - Brad Maddox
"No more Bo! No more Bo!" - The fans

"He's got the heart, just like me and you, William." - Brad | "I don't have a heart. There's just a piece of coal there." - Regal
Luke Harper picked up the win with a lariat on Neville. I didn't think the match was that great to be honest. Too much Bo Dallas which no one wanted to see, not enough Neville and the match just didn't get enough time.

Summer Rae vs Paige
"That was an Indian deathlock." - Regal | "Uh, that's actually a Native American deathlock." - Brad Maddox

"I'm gonna call Vince McMahon and ask why you're allowed to sit here with us." - Regal - | "Somebody call yo momma cuz I'm the Assistant to the Managing Supervisor on Raw." - Brad Maddox

Paige got the win with the Paige-Turner. Good match here. The both brought the hate. Summer Rae looked really good working the indian deathlock and she was a pretty effective heel here, actually outshining Paige. The finish was a little akward but it was still good. Rating:***

They announced that since Oliver Gray is injured, Adrian Neville will choose a partner to defend the tag titles with. They decided it would be Bo Dallas, which set this up:

Chris Jericho vs Bray Wyatt
"Bray Wyatt is the type of hero that when you look at him on the television screen, he stares back at you." - Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt talked about being a hero beforehand and said this was his biggest match ever. He said he would break down the walls.
Rowan got ejected early.
Chris Jericho got the win with a Walls of Jericho. Good match here with a good crowd and good work by Wyatt. A little too  much interference though. The highlight was Bray Wyatt doing a running crossbody which was like running into a moving wall. Bray looked totally ready for Raw here.

Overall thoughts: Good show. The women's match was the best thing on it and everything was atleast passable.
