WWE Saturday Morning Slam 1/12/2013 Review

WWE Saturday Morning Slam 1/12/2013 Review

Last week's show is here: http://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2013/01/wwe-saturday-morning-slam-152013-review.html

They showed the clips of Orton challenging Sandow last week that got this match started and built it up a little. Sandow came out to talk about his usual stuff beforehand until Orton came out.

Randy Orton vs Damien Sandow
Orton was in control early here with headlocks and then he hit a shoulder tackle on Sandow to the outside. We had a long break and when we came back, Sandow had Orton in a headlock. Orton got in control and missed a big knee. Orton got back in control and did a knee pad rake on Sandow's eyes, which sent Sandow out. He then did a backdrop onto the barricades outside which the camera's didn't show. Half this match is all cut away's. Sandow hit his elbow of disdain and Booker said that the elbow's latin name sounded like a "Japanese steakhous". They talked about Damien Sandow graduating highschool at 12 years old. They then went to another break, pretty much guaranteeing that this match will go the whole show.

They had Kaitlyn do a don't do this at home ad where she said she trained for YEARS. Haha. If posing in bikini magazines counts as training, we have alot more wrestlers than I thought.

Orton hit his draping DDT on the return from the break and got ready to finish Damien off.  Orton hit the RKO but they turned away from it, naturally. Who wants to see the finish?

Rating:**1/2

They did a spotlight package on Sheamus and said he would be on the show next week.

Overall thoughts: It was literally a one match show and Orton/Sandow didn't impress me that much. Skip it.
