Masato Tanaka beat Karl Anderson to become the first New Japan NEVER Openweight Champion. This match didn't do it for me. They just didn't click and they tried to work more of an american style, but it ended up being average. Tanaka got his arm sliced on the table spot and they didn't go too much longer than that. Disappointing match here that kind of shows that Karl Anderson still needs some work. Rating:**1/4
