WWE Saturday Morning Slam 9/1/2012

WWE Saturday Morning Slam 9/1/2012

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2012/09/wwe-saturday-morning-slam-912012-review.html

They did a segment on WWE's top 5 favorite catchphrases:
5. If you smell what the Rock is coookin'
4. To be the man, you gotta beat the man
3. Awesome (The Miz's) - Yeah, I don't think so.
2. You can't see me
1. And that's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold said so

They then did a feature on signatures.
Kofi talked about signing a stinky, dirty shoe as the worst thing he ever signed.

If the target audience is under 7, how are they going to know this?

Curt Hawkins vs Brodus Clay

"Don't forget to eat your oatmeal kids. It's a great way to start the day." - Santino
"Alot of people think snakes evolved from Dinosaurs, so you probably have some things in common with Brodus Clay." - Josh to Santino
"Absolutely. We are repitilian family members." - Santino
Curt and Brodus did some dancing

"He made him fly like a slingshot. I used to have a slingshot when I was a kid, so you shouldn't play with them so much. Very dangerous." - Santino
"Curt has to figure out something because he can't beat him wrestling and he can't beat him dancing." - Santino

"He flipped him like a pancake for breakfast." - Santino
"Are you hungry?" - Josh
"I just finished my breakfast. It was a great meal and the most important meal of the day." - Santino

Brodus Clay won with an exploder suplex and a splash. Lots of dancing here. I guess this wasn't too bad, but it was very light on wrestling.

Santino came to dance after:
"If you guessed B, you passed the pop quiz." - Riley

Saturday Morning Spotlight on Rey Mysterio
Rey demonstrated how to do the 619. Surprising since you wouldn't want kids to do this at home. Rey did say "don't try this at home", but I'm willing to bet there were a bunch of kids who did.

Overall thoughts: This was better than last week's show but still very skippable. I don't recommend it at all, but atleast it was tolerable.
