WWE NXT Level Up 11/22/2024

WWE NXT Level Up 11/22/2024

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2024/11/wwe-nxt-level-up-11152024.html

Blake Howard and Byron Saxton are on commentary.

Joe Coffey vs Harlem Lewis

Joe is with Gallus as usual.

They lock up and lock-up again. Joe side headlocks him. They trade forearms and Joe puts another side headlock on. Joe side headlock takeovers him. Lewis slams him then running boots him for 1. Joe hits forearms and trips Lewis. Joe finlay rolls him then hits a vader bomb for 2.

Joe hits some mule kicks then hammerlocks him. Joe pulls back on the other arm as well. Lewis hits some forearms then lariats him off the ropes. Joe is caught on a 2nd rope twisting crossbody, Lewis catches him and powerslams him for 2.

Joe flying shoulders Lewis then hits another. Joe spinning lariats him and wins.

Thoughts: It was short and fine. Lewis got a little shine here with some power and the two matched up pretty well in this heavyweight match.

Lainey Reid is interviewed by Sarah Schreiber. She says she's building up momentum and nothing will stop that, especially Tyra Mae Steele. Sarah mentions Layla Diggs and Reid gets scared. She says Steele will be in the past like Diggs is after tonight.

Lainey Reid vs Tyra Mae Steele

Tyra gives a toy medal to a fan as usual. Tyra has new white and yellow gear on.

Reid tries to kick her away and is caught. Reid rolls through it, takes her down and piefaces her. Rein shoulders her over. Tyra rolls her around by the legs. Tyra does a waistlock takedown and rolls her around on the mat for 2.

Tyra armlocks her. Reid hits a nice dropkick. Tyra's head is banged off the buckles and Rei hits corner spears. Reid hip attacks her in the corner and snapmares her. Reid double stomps her.

Reid hits some boots. Tyra rolls her up for 2 then Rei flapjacks her for 2. Reid does an abdominal stretch and Tyra hiptosses her. Tyra hits jumping forearms then germans her for 2.

Reid superkicks her. Reid is caught on a crossbody, Tyra backrolls and Reid grabs the face. Reid sends Tyra's face into the buckles and wins.

Thoughts: It was fine. Reid had a good showing and is definitely improving by the week. She really seems to have found herself as a heel. Tyra's not quite improving as fast as I had hoped. The finish was unexpected here.

Layla Diggs comes out after and Reid runs around the ring. Reid gets in the ring and Tyra pounces her.

Layla is interviewed after. She said she interfered as it's the only way to get Reid's attention. She says she's been ducking her. She says she has revenge on her mind and will get it soon. She says Layla Diggs is coming for her.

Dante Chen vs Shiloh Hill

Hill and Chen lock up. Chen wristlocks him. Chen armlocks Hill. Hill hits corner spears on Chen. Hill bulldogs Chen. Hill cravates him then running back elbows him. Hill misses a corner charge and goes hard into the middle buckle.

Chen yanks on Hill's arm. Chen single arm ddt's him. Chen armlocks him. Chen armdrags and armlocks him. Chen armdrags Hill and armlocks him again. Hill hits forearms and armdrags him. Hill hits forearms and a lariat. Hill flying shoulders Chen then hits a shake, rattle and roll for 2.

Chen trips Hill and Hill reverses his pinfall attempt with one of his own. Chen superkicks him then hits a double chop. Chen then gets the win.

Thoughts: It was the usual Chen match with armdrags and armlocks. Hill did a decent job here as a face and match up well with Chen. It was fine and I had no issues with it but I wish Chen had a more lethal looking finisher.

Chen helps Hill up after.

Overall thoughts: It was a good edition of Level Up. They followed up on the Reid/Diggs feud and all 3 matches were solid here. I enjoyed it and had no issues with this one. It wasn't must see but they did a good job here.

WWE Smackdown 11/22/2024

WWE Smackdown 11/22/2024

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2024/11/wwe-smackdown-11152024.html

We are in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Bloodline and Bronson Reed come out. Solo says to acknowledge him and says his crew is ready to dominate at Wargames. Solo says his crew is always ready but Roman isn't. He says Roman isn't even here yet. He says he needs Roman to meet him in the ring tonight and accept his terms of surrender. He says once he surrenders, he and his crew can acknowledge him.

WWE Women's United States Title Tournament - Bianca Belair vs Blair Davenport vs Chelsea Green

We get some pin attempts to start. Blair is lariated over the top by Green. Bianca shoulders Green over then standing moonsaults her. Green 2nd rope sunset flips Bianca for 2. Blair punches Green down then Bianca plancha's Green outside. Blair ties Bianca's hair to the ropes then double stomps her back from the buckles.

We go to PiP break and return. Bianca suplexes Blair. Bianca hits corner punches then Green flying shining wizards Bianca. Blair double stomps Green's back. Bianca spinebusters Blair then handspring moonsaults her. Blair gets her knees up then Green hits a dropkick + senton combo. Bianca german suplexes both opponents at the same time.

Bianca misses a corner spear and goes into the post. Green superplexes Blair then Bianca top rope 450's Blair. Green throws Bianca out then Bianca pulls Green out. Green is sent into the rails.

We go to the back and Jade Cargill is out and laying on the hood of a car. Bobby Roode calls for the paramedics. Bianca runs to the back then Blair rolls up Green. Blair superkicks Green then Green hits an unprettier on Blair for the win.

Thoughts: Wrestling wise it wasn't bad but it had the usual limitations of three way matches. Bianca leaving was unexpected. They did the best they could with this one.

Bianca runs to the parking lot and checks on Jade in the ambulance. Bianca tells Naomi and Bayley to stay out of it.

WWE Men's United States Title - LA Knight (c) vs Santos Escobar

Shinsuke Nakamura does a translated promo. He says he knows him better than he knows himself. He says he's riddled with insecurities and begs fans to chant his name. He says he lashes out so people don't see how frightened he is. He says LA's fears are justified and says this is the beginning of his end.

Santos then nails LA. Santos stomps on him. LA lariats him out of the corner. Santos kicks him against the ropes then plancha's him. We go to break and return.

They trade chops and Santos hits a corner spear. Santos step up enzugiri's him. Santos slingshots swantons him for 2. LA slingshot shoulderblocks him. LA hits punches then spinning lariats him. LA jumping neckbreakers him for 2.

LA knocks Santos off the buckles and Shinsuke Nakamura appears in the entrance way. LA is distracted and gets crotched. Santos top rope hurricanrana's him then hits a top rope frogsplash. Santos throws him off his shoulders, LA lands on his feet and hits a BFT to win.

Thoughts: They did a good job of making me think Santos could pull this off so I'd say this was a success. The finish was nicely done here.

Nakamura beats up LA and sends him into the post shoulder first.

The Motor City Machine Guns talk to Johnny Gargano in the back. Sabin says Ciampa ruined their match for them last week. Johnny asks them for a title shot. Sabin says The Street Profits deserve the next show. The Profits walk in and say they got next. They say Johnny's partner is bad news and says some snakes hide in the grass.

We see Roman, Sami, Jimmy and Jey walk in the back.

Nick Aldis talks to Nia Jax in the back. He asks if she knows what happened to Jade. She says no. She says she was busy helping Candice and Tiffany get ready for their match. Nick then goes up to Cody Rhodes. He says he hasn't heard from Kevin Owens and doesn't know if he's even here for the face to face. Cody says he wouldn't fall for it and says Kevin wouldn't miss this opportunity.

Cody Rhodes comes out for his face to face with Kevin Owens. He says he doesn't believe KO isn't here and tells him to come out. KO appears in the crowd wearing a suit on a t-shirt. KO says he's insulted as he was summoned to be here because Cody wanted him here. He says you can't deny Cody's request. He says she's dressed to the nines and Cody isn't even wearing his suit.

Cody says he was summoned to stand in the ring with him right now. KO Says what happened to Orton is Cody's fault. KO gets on the commentary table. He said he fought Bloodline every week for 4 years and they tried to end his career. He says he stood by Cody when he came back and tried to help him win the title at WM39 and celebrated with him at WM40. He says Roman then needed a partner and Cody said yes. He says everything that happened in Cody's fault.

Cody says enough and says him teaming with Roman had nothing to do with KO. He says KO has to be a victim. He says nobody holds KO down more than KO does. He says KO's self-sabotage is next level. He says KO has every accolade and is a top star but everyone except him knows it.

He says KO could have pulled the trigger but didn't. He said if he did in their match, KO could be champ. He says KO blames him for that. He says KO did pull the trigger but on the wrong guy - Randy Orton. He says Orton was KO's friend and didn't deserve what he did to him.

He says KO crossed every line he could and he says he will beat a lesson into him. He says his lesson is coming but says the ball is in KO's court. KO says Cody will get his match but he will get it when he says so. He says when it does happen, he is just doing his job and doing what Cody asked him to do. He says he did cross the line with Orton but he loved him. He says he hates Cody.

Cody says he thinks KO hates himself only. He says there's not a single line he won't cross when they do go at it.

Thoughts: I liked this one. It took us months to get here but all the months of waiting and work finally feel worth it. I think it could have been done better though. They did a great job of bringing up all the stuff to lead to this one.

Roman, Sami, Jimmy and Jey talk in the back. Sami says they won't surrender. Jey says they need a 5th member for Wargames. Sami says he's out of ideas. Jey asks about Cody Rhodes. Jimmy says yeah and Roman says no. Roman says Cody is old news and he has moved on. Sami says we culd try Seth Rollins one last time. Roman stares at him.

Sami asks what they are going to do. Roman says they don't need anyone else and this is all that matters. He says if they go out all together, they will be good. He says if they die, they die together. Sami asks what the plan is and Roman says he doesn't know.

Carmelo Hayes makes a comment about Cody as he walks past. He says nobody is telling the truth louder than Cody's neck. They shove each other and Nick Aldis breaks it up. Cody says it's time for Nick to evaluate his first round draft pick and Melo says to evaluate it.

Bayley and Naomi vs Candice LeRae and Tiffany Stratton

Naomi flying knees Tiff then pounds on her. Tiff hits corner spears. Naomi stands on Tiff's back then superkicks her. Tiff avoids a tiger feint bulldog then hides behind Nia outside. Tiff and CL then nail the faces behind Nia.

Bayley low topes Tiff outside. Bayley slides under the bottom rope and dropkicks CL. We go to break and return. Tiff misses a double stomp on Bayley. Tiff drives Bayley into the corner. Tiff and CL argue. CL steps up on Bayley's back and sentons her back.

CL step up enzugiri's Bayley then asai moonsaults her. Tiff double stomps Naomi. Tiff misses a cartwheel backflip back elbow on Bayley. Tiff is thrown out. Nia pulls Naomi down from the apron and gets her team DQ'd for it. The heels beat up on the faces. Iyo Sky comes out and makes the save and is shoved over by Nia.

Iyo springboard dropkicks Nia then gets beaten up by Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. Rhea Ripley comes out in a mask and clears the heels off with a kendo stick.

Thoughts:
The match wasn't that special and had a weak ending. At least Nia got DQ'd for getting involved though. I thought LeRae had a good showing.

Tomasso Ciampa vs Montez Ford

TC misses a running boot and Ford boots him in the corner. TC hits forearms then Ford dropkicks him. Ford lariats TC then enzugiri's him. TC goes out then tope con hilos him. TC step up knees Ford off the apron and Ford goes out.

We go to break and return. Ford powerbombs TC from the buckles. Ford hits flying lariats then backdrops him. Ford standing moonsaults him. They trade shots. Ford takes a stungun then TC neckbreakers him.

Ford jumping knees him. Ford springboards an takes a knee to the face. Ford then gets the pin soon after.

Thoughts: We didn't see a ton of this one due to the break and it was a shorter match anyway. What we got was okay but it wasn't much.

Ciampa jumps Ford after. Dawkins comes out to save Ford. Gargano comes out. Ciampa nails Dawkins from behind and pounds on him. Gargano pulls Ciampa off and asks him what he's doing. Ciampa pushes him over. The Motor City Machine Guns then come out.

The Bloodline come out. Roman, Jimmy, Jey and Sami then follow. Solo says he's not here to fight Roman. He says he loves all four of them. He says if they four of them join him, they can run the company for decades. Solo says they have no 5th man, no wiseman and no choice. Solo says to surrender and join his team or they will die where they stand. Paul Heyman comes out.

Paul says he was put through a table at MSG and says maybe his math is off. He says you can't do Wargames 4v5. Paul says it will be 5v5, not 4v5. He then points at the entrance way and CM Punk's music hits.

Punk then comes out. Everyone fights and the heels are cleared off. We then get a triple tope from the faces outside. Roman and Punk stare down. Roman hits a spear and Punk hits a go to sleep. Roman and Punk stare down. Paul then smiles and the faces look at Punk to close the show.

Thoughts: There's some history with Punk and Solo and of course Punk and Heyman. There may be some history with Roman but I'm not sure. As I've been saying, this is the problem with this match being 5v5 is that extra people get brought in who aren't really involved in the feud and that waters it down.

Overall thoughts: There wasn't a ton of wrestling on this one. I liked the KO/Cody segment. The main event segment at least had Paul and Punk returning, but I'm not real big on Punk getting inserted into the Bloodline feud too. The Gargano/Ciampa thing isn't the greatest feud ever but it's a developing storyline, it makes sense and we'll see where it goes. I thought it was a good show overall and would give it a 6 out of 10.

CMLL 11/15/2024 Arena Mexico

CMLL 11/15/2024 Arena Mexico

Kal dropkicks Gal in the knee then takes a lariat from UD. Kal goes for Gal's mask during it and ends up pulling it off when he takes the lariat. Galaxy's team is awarded the match due to the mask being pulled off.

Thoughts: It was a good opener here with lots of flying and quick action. I didn't like the finish that much and didn't think it was necessary as they were having a good match.

Galaxy makes a mask vs mask match challenge after and Angelito makes one as well. They seem to set up a hair vs masks match but this is lucha and I doubt it'll happen.

Kemalito vs. KeMonito

This is a new KeMonito. The former KeMonito wanted to leave and CMLL is trying to give the gimmick to someone new. They are currently in a court battle over who can use the name.

Malito offers a handshake and Monito goes for it. Malito hugs him and raises his hand then lariats him. Malito stomps on Monito. Malito hits a knee to the head then corner lariats him. Malito hit boots in the corner. Malito corner dropkicks him.

They fight on the ramp and Monito knocks him down a few times. They hockey fight and the ref Olimpico tries to break it up. Monito spears Malito under Olimpico's legs on the ramp. The ref then counts out both guys at 7:09.

Thoughts: It was a really entertaining and fun match. What's not to love about two little gorilla's beating the crap out of each other? They did some dives here and Malito had some fun being a jerk to Monito. Monito spearing Malito between the ref's legs was a fun spot and this really went about as well as it could. I enjoyed this one.

Tess cutters Pers. Pers rakes Tess' eyes then Pers pins her by holding onto the ropes. Persephone's team wins the match in 2 straight falls.

Thoughts: No one botched anything and it was just average for the most part. They didn't get a ton of time for this one.

Tess has words for Pers after. Tess forearms her and Pers retreats to the ramp.

World Historic Middleweight Title Match - Villano III Jr. vs. Flip Gordon

They lock up. V3 takes Flip down and gets shoved. Flip side headlocks him then V3 side headlocks him. Flip headscissors him and V3 headflips out. V3 side headlocks him. Flip trips him and does a side headlock. Flip handstands then handstand walks out of a headscissors. V3 wristlocks him.

V3 and Flip trade forearms. Flip kips down out of a lariat and pele kicks him. Flip tries to springboard but crotches himself. V3 top rope powerslams him for 2. V3 handstands on the buckles and gets superkicked. Flip then top rope corkscrew moonsaults him outside. Flip 450's V3 in the ring for 2.

Flip 2nd rope cutters him for 2. Flip electric chair drops him. V3 no sells it and tries to pin him. V3 step up knees Flip. V3 hits his handspring seated moonsault. He goes for the pin, Flip reverses the pin and pins him.

Thoughts: The first half of this was really good and very athletic. They put a lot of thought into it it and did stuff they normally don't do. I didn't like the second half of it though. It just went on too long, they didn't sell that well and the finish of V3 hitting a move and Flip just no selling it and pinning him was dumb.

Flip is presented with the title belt after by some officials. Mistico and Neon also come out for this.

Atlantis, Atlantis Jr. & Blue Panther vs. El Barbaro Cavernario, Niebla Roja & Ultimo Guerrero

Sr = Atlantis, Jr = Atlantis Jr, UG = Ultimo Guerrero

UG misses a knee in the corner and goes out. Blue flying headscissors Roja off the apron. Sr dives onto UG from the apron. Jr powerslams Barb in the ring then top rope splashes him to win the fall and match.

Thoughts:
It was a decent match here. Blue and Atlantis Sr worked well around their limitations and were sympathetic faces to cheer for as usual. I had no issues with this and enjoyed it.

I think they announcer Pac, Claudio, Red Velvet and Toni are coming in from AEW on 12/13/24.

Averno, Difunto & Zandokan Jr. vs. Mistico, Neon & Templario

Mist and Neon get stomped on the ramp. Temp flying headscissors Zand then Mist is popped up from the ramp into a flying headscissors on Av. Neon springboard headscissors one of the heels. The faces then do triple topes outside.

Neon runs the ramp and does a double blind springboard moonsault outside. Mist goes for la mistica and Av breaks it up by baseball sliding his own partner on accident. Temp sitout powerbombs Dif and pins him. Mist springboard twisting crossbodies Av then puts him in la mistica. Mist then taps him out to win the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was a decent main here. These guys know what they were doing and it was never going to be awful as long as they tried and got some time. The third fall was the best part of it with the faces getting all their offense and dives in. I didn't like the mascots being able to interfere though.

Overall thoughts: I liked the show as a whole. The opener, midgets match, the semi-main and main were all fine. The midgets match was my favorite thing on here and was a spectacle as expected. It was a good show and I'd give this one a 7 out of 10. I'd recommend this one.

New Japan Pro Wrestling 11/22/2024 World Tag League 2024 Day 3

New Japan Pro Wrestling 11/22/2024 World Tag League 2024 Day 3

Day 2 is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2024/11/new-japan-pro-wrestling-11212024-world.html

Shoma Kato vs Daiki Nagai

They mat wrestle then they trade chops and forearms. Nagai side headlocks him then stomps on him. Kato flying forearms him and hits forearms. Kato hip throws him for 2 then slams him. Kato slams him then crabs him.

They trade forearms. Nagai dropkicks him then corner dropkicks him. Nagai slams him and hits forearms. Kato dropkicks him. Kato hiptosses him for 2.  Nagai sunset flips him. Kato hits an armdrag and dropkick. Kato crabs him and surprisingly gets the submission win.

Thoughts: It was your usual young lions match between these two with nothing but the basics. It went longer than it needed to as these have been. These two did more strikes than Nagai and Yasuda were doing.

Kato forearms him down after and boots him out of the ring.

BULLET CLUB (Stevie Filip, Taiji Ishimori & Tome Filip) vs. TMDK (Kosei Fujita, Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste)

Kosei and TI go at it. Kosei armdrags him then dropkicks him. TI eye pokes him and throws him out. Everyone fights outside. Stevie sends Kosei into the buckles. Kosei takes corner attacks and a german. Kosei then takes a suplex from Tome for 2. TI chokes Kosei with a shirt.

TI and Kosei trade then Kosei step up enzugiri's him. Shane hits a nice euro on Stevie then reverse slams him. Shane pumping knees Stevie. Shane takes a head kick + a drop for 2. Shane backdrops Tome then takes a headscissors from Stevie. TI handspring corkscrew kicks Shane.

TI rolls up Shane for 2 then eye rakes him. Shane lariats TI over. Shane hits a sitout last ride on him for 2. Mikey hits a double lariat. Kosei moonsaults off the apron onto Tome then TI takes a blue thunder + uranage and is pinned.

Thoughts: It didn't get enough time. The two teams were doing pretty well together and it ended in what should have been the middle of the match. I feel like The Filip Brothers have a good match in them but they aren't super charismatic and these short trios matches don't really show what they can do. I liked the blue thunder + uranage finish TMDK did though I don't think they meant to do it.

House Of Torture (Dick Togo, EVIL & Ren Narita) vs. Just 4 Guys (DOUKI, Taichi & TAKA Michinoku)

Everyone goes out to fight to start. Taka is sent into the rails by Evil. Evil chokes him with a microphone and talks trash. Taka is sent into the exposed buckle. Togo stomps on Taka then sends him into the exposed buckle again. Togo fist drops him.

Ren throws Taka out then Evil chairs Taka in the gut outside. Ren chokes Taka. Taka step up knees him in the corner. Taka facelocks Togo but Evil breaks it up. Taka pump kicks Evil from the side.

The faces get some offense in. Togo misses a orner charge on Douki then is put in the douki chokey. Douki then submits Togo.

Thoughts:
It was a short HoT match. They used their weapons as usual and the faces overcame them. It didn't really get enough time and it was nothing of note.

Taichi takes off his pants after and Douki stares down YOH at commentary.

Oleg Boltin & Toru Yano vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI & Tetsuya Naito)

Yano and Naito goof around to start. Yano is pushed into Bushi and Naito rolls him up. Yano hits him in the back of the head then Oleg shoulders Naito over. Yano takes off a turbuckle pad and nails Oleg with it on accident.  Bushi and Naito hit Yano with the turnbuckle pad. Bushi chinlocks Yano and Yano ropebreaks.

Naito spints in Yano's eyes and Yano pulls him down by the hair. Oleg slams Naito then karelin's lifts him. Oleg splashes Naito for 2. Naito step up enzugiri's Oleg. Bushi facekicks Oleg then pulls him over the top. Bushi topes Oleg into the rails.

Bushi dropkicks Oleg in the knee then basement dropkicks him. Oleg blocks Bushi's sunset flip then Oleg F-5's him. Oleg finlay rolls Bushi and wins.

Thoughts:
It was a shorter one here. Naito and Yano mostly just screwed around and I thought Bushi went down easy to Oleg's finlay roll. I know Naito's limited and stuff but I don't like him losing these undercard matches as it further exposes him.

Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jado & Katsuya Murashima vs. United Empire (Great-O-Khan, HENARE & Jakob Austin Young)

Jado and Hen pose down before the match and Katsuya pushes Jake. Tana and Khan go at it. Khan rams him into the corner. Tana 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. Tana and Jado hit double back elbows on their opponents. Khan and Hen hit forearms on Tana and Jado, then they get pulled out.

Tana and Hen trade full nelsons. Tana hits a twist and shout. Katsuya gets in. He hits forearms on Hen and dropkicks him over. Hen takes a triple team that ends in a nice Katsuya slam for 2. Katsuya dropkicks Hen and rolls him up for 2. Hen PK's Katsuya for 2. Jake hits a 2nd rope double dropkick. Hen step up knees Katsuya in the corner and pins him.

Thoughts: I absolutely hated this. Henare and Khan should have been destroying Jado and Katsuya yet were taking whoopings from them. Winning this did nothing to offset that either. This match was match was like everything that's wrong with NJPW outside of House of Torture.

World Tag League 2024 Block A Match - Callum Newman and Jeff Cobb vs Alex Zayne and Ryusuke Taguchi

Alex and Newman go at it. Alex cartwheels over him then Newman running facekicks him. Alex slingshot headscissors him and then flipping legdrops him over the back of the neck. Alex leapfrogs over RT to dropkick Newman then headsicssors RT into him. Alex then cannonballs Newman for 2.

Alex tags in and pumping knees Newman. Newman's on the top rope and Alex flips into a hurricanrana on him. Alex then hits a baja blast for 2. Alex moonsaults into a final cut on Cobb. Alex shoulders Newman over then running corkscrew ssp's him. Newman then tries to pin him off of it.

RT goes for a hip attack and is caught with a GTH from Newman. Cobb flying euros RT in the corner. RT takes a top rope double stomp + attitude adjustment. Cobb hip attacks RT then misses a standing moonsault. RT running hip attacks him for 2.

Thoughts:
It was okay but this would have been better with anyone but Taguchi in there. He's a low rank comedy wrestler and it's hard to take him seriously because of it. This was always going to be the problem with the Taguchi/Alex team. NJPW probably knew this too yet didn't care. I liked some of Cobb's and Newman's double teams here and just wish Taguchi had better offense for them.

World Tag League 2024 Block A Match - BULLET CLUB (Chase Owens & KENTA) vs. BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Gabe Kidd & SANADA)

Kenta and Chase get nailed before they enter. Kenta and Gabe trade forearms. Sanada sends Chase into the seats. Sanada chairs Chase in the gut. Kenta and Gabe go into the stands to fight. Sanada and Chase go into the stands to fight as well.

Gabe chokes Kenta with something on the outside. Gabe charges Kenta from behind then sends Chase into the post. They finally get in the ring and the bell rings. Sanada gets stomped on by Chase. Kenta corner dropkicks Sanada then Chase top rope elbow drops Sanada.

Chase gets the rope kicked into his crotch by Sanada. Sanda dropkicks Kenta then hits a magic screw on Chase. Chase does an elbow slice on Gabe for 2. Gabe hits a hard shot on Chase then rebound lariats him. Gabe suplexes Chase for 2.

Gabe running knees Chase on the ropes then piledrivers him for the win.

Thoughts: It was pretty much all outside brawling here and then 3 minutes of them fighting in the ring. It wasn't much more than that. It made sense but wasn't much of note.

Gabe gets on the mic after. He says Kenny Omega crossed the line and says he doesn't care what anyone he wants out of him. He says let's f*cking go and then says he's already dead.

World Tag League 2024 Block A Match - Shota Umino & Tomoaki Honma vs. TMDK (Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr.)

Oiwa elbow drops Honma then armlocks him. Zack comes in and cravates Honma with a bridge. Zack slaps around Honma then Honma drops him with a slap. Shota comes in and running back elbows Zack. Shota running euros Zack in the corner then fisherman suplexes him for 2. Shota stf's Zack but Zack slips out and puts an armbar on Shota.

Shota armdrags him then gets his neck twisted with Zack's feet. Oiwa gets in and shoulders Shota over. Oiwa hiptosses Shota, dropkicks him and kips up. Oiwa falling splashes Shota for 2.

Honma comes in and chops up Oiwa. Honma bulldogs him. Oiwa forearms him then spinning forearms him down. Oiwa corner dropkicks Honma then backdrops him. Oiwa hits some short arm lariats on Honma for 2. Shota comes to help out and Zack grabs him. Zack gets pushed into the rails.

Oiwa backdrops Shota then Zack running lariats Shota for 2. Honma takes a kick and a spinning lariat. Shota tornado ddt's Oiwa off of Zack. Zack and Shota then lariat each other at the same time. Zack slaps Shota. Shota hits a nice euro.

Shota hits a death rider ddt on Zack and pins him.

Thoughts: It was the best match of the tag league so far but that's not saying much. Shota was extra stiff here. There were some style differences but they tried to power through it and make the best they could of it. This was really all about Shota vs Zack. They showed some promise, but I don't see a Tokyo Dome main event out of these two. Like the Alex/Taguchi match earlier, it's hard to take Honma seriously in a match like this when he's been a low card guy going down so early for most of the year prior to this. I enjoyed this one and appreciated the effort they put out.

World Tag League 2024 Block A Match - Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji)

Goto and Yota lock up. Goto clean breaks him. They shoulder each other and Goto is knocked over. They chop each other and Yota takes a double shoulderblock. Yoshi is hiptossed onto Yota then Shingo gets double clubbed on.

Yota flying headscissors Yoshi. Yota takes a double team GTR. Shingo takes a dragon suplex but no sells it. Shingo fights off both opponents then runs into a Goto lariat. Goto GTR's Shingo.

Yota superkicks both opponents. Yota 2nd rope superplexes Yoshi then Shingo sliding lariats Yoshi. Shingo wheelbarrow germans Yoshi. Yota pumping knees Goto then Shingo lariats Goto. Yoshi rolls up Shingo for 2. Yoshi and Shingo trade forearms.

Shingo hits a spinning lariat then a running lariat. Yoshi crucifix bombs Shingo and picks up the win.

Thoughts:
The crowd wasn't that good for this but I liked the match. Bishamon always put out a good effort and it was a good strong style match with lots of hard shots. This had pretty much everything you would want from these guys and it was maybe the second best match of the tag league so far. I wish this would have gone even longer as it was going well.

Yoshi and Goto then talk on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: The top two matches delivered and made this into an entertaining show. Outside of that, the show had a weak to average undercard and bad team selections that hurt the tag league matches. I would give it a 6 out of 10 overall.

TNA Impact 11/21/2024

TNA Impact 11/21/2024

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2024/11/tna-impact-11142024.html

They fight on the buckles. Masha headbutts her and takes a thumb to the eye. Alisha powerbombs her on the bottom of a trash can for 2. Alisha hits her with a kendo stick then Masha hits her. Masha hits a package piledriver and wins.

Tasha Steelz nails Masha after and pounds on her. Jordynne Grace comes out and Tasha runs.

Thoughts: It was better than I expected and one of the better matches I've seen Alisha in. They timed it about right and the match made sense. They covered up Alisha's weaknesses and I had no issues with this one.

KUSHIDA and The Rascalz talk in the back. Trey talks about getting action figured of The Hardy's as a kid. Wentz said him and his brother pretended to be The Hardy's. Wentz says they will be watching the main tonight.

Jody Threat vs Ash By Elegance

George Iceman comes out, calls the town a dump and says they want to make North Carolina great again.

Heather By Elegance and George Iceman are with Ash. Dani Luna is with Jody. Ash slides out early, avoiding lock-ups. Jody steps on Ash's hand when she tries it again then back elbows her. Jody slams her then overhead suplexes her. Jody runs into the buckles when Ash moves and Heather pulls down Jodi on the ropes. Ash pounds on Jody.

Ash throws her backwards then stomps her in the corner. Heather then pounds on Jody. Ash rakes at Jody's face. Jody hits lariats then pump kicks her. Jody double knees her on the ropes then release germans her.

Ash pulls her down backwards. Jody hits a corner spear then a lariat flurry in the corner. Heather distracts the ref. Jody goes for a superplex and George grabs Ash to stop her from going over. Dani forearms Heather outside and Ash hits a top rope swanton to win.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good and had a ton of shenanigans going on outside. Ash won as expected here.

Mike Santana comes out to talk. Mike says we can all probably relate to someone telling you that you can't reach your dreams. We go to a PiP break as he talks which is some fantastic timing. Frankie Kazarian comes out and talks, but we can't hear that either because of the commercial.

We finally come back and Mike says he has no problem cracking Kaz over the head with his trophy. Kaz says he'd love to send him back to the streets he came from right now. He says he has prior obligations and has to embarrass Rhino tonight. He says he will be at Turning Point and will keep an eye on the World Title match.

Mike says he doesn't have a match at Turning Point. Kaz says he's taking a night off. Mike says there's no night's off. He says let's make that match official at Turning Point. Mike then says something about Kaz's match with Rhino and Rhino comes out.

Rhino vs Frankie Kazarian

Kaz pounds on Rhino as he enters and is shouldered over. Kaz goes out to stall. Rhino slingshots Kaz in and chops him. Rhino hits shots to the gut. Kaz goes out again. Rhino goes after him. Rhino backdrops Kaz on the apron. Rhino's head is banged off the steps.

Kaz hits mounted shots on Rhino. Kaz chokes him. Kaz hits shots in the corner. Rhino lariats him. Kaz grabs his trophy and the ref stops him. Kaz kicks the middle rope into Rhino's crotch for 2. Kaz pounds on Rhino. Kaz misses a springboard legdrop.

Kaz and Rhino trade punches. Rhino lariats him and hits a corner spear. Rhino belly to belly suplexes him for 2. Rhino lariats Kaz then Kaz pins him with his feet on the ropes.

Thoughts: It was an average match. There was nothing wrong with it and it was Kaz doing basic heel work and eventually getting the win with it. Rhino never wins so I wasn't surprised he lost here.

Kaz poses with the trophy after and Rhino spears him.

We see a video of Steve Maclin at a bar drinking. He is asked when he got back and he said he never left. Eric Young then arrives as Steve leaves. Steve then heads to a motel. He turns the TV on and is thinking on the bed. He then takes a shower. This whole time, various thoughts go through his head. He looks at some old photos and then is at a military office in his dream. Eric Young then arrives his hotel.

Thoughts: I guess Steve is doing a PTSD gimmick here?

The System (Moose and JDC) vs Leon Slater and Laredo Kid

JDC and Kid start us off. JDC wristlocks him. Kid does takedowns on him and they stand off. JDC hits shots on Kid. He goves up and over. Kid top rope crossbodies JDC. Leon hits a rewind kick on JDC and JDC goes out to stall.  Kid hits JDC outside. Kid walks the top rope and JDC crotches him. JDC then knocks kid down to the floor. Moose throws Kid into the steps.

Kid is back body dropped onto the apron. Kid and JDC double clothesline each other. Moose and Leon get in. Leon flying kicks him then does dropkicks in the corner. Leon diving headscissors Moose off the buckles then leg lariats him for 2.

Leon cradles JDC for 2 then JDC falcon arrows him for 2. JDC spears the post when Kid moves and Kid dropkicks JDC's shoulder into the post. Kid is caught on a tope con hilo by Moose and takes a horrible looking apron edge powerbomb. Kid seemingly hits his head off of it. Leon then tope con hilos over the post onto Moose.

Leon rolls up JDC and gets the pin.

Thoughts: I didn't like this. It was a waste of everyone involved. Moose didn't get in much at all. The finish was really sudden and the only thing it really did was make The System and JDC take an unnecessary loss. I'm sure it's going somewhere, but it could have been done better.

Moose powerbombs Leon after and JDC hits a top rope legdrop on him. The heels pose then Laredo Kid hits them with a chair.

Joe Hendry comes out to talk. He says Thanksgiving is around the corner and there's a lot he has to be thankful for this year. He says the journey they have been on has been unbelievable. He says it's because of all the fans believing in him. He says the goal is to become champ and say he will be in a Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match on it. He says he should be having the title but could be standing here in a turkey costume. He says greatness is worth the price of humiliation. He says you have to keep believing and says anything is possible when you believe.

Nic Nemeth says he still believes in Joe Hendry but he's focused on Turning Point. He says it won't just be Eddie Edwards, but the whole System behind him. He says he's a fighting champ and knows what it takes. He says all Eddie cares about is power and he won't take the power from him at Turning Point. He says he will do what he does best and steal the show.

Savannah Evans vs Brittany Jade

They stare down and Jade backs off. Evans throws her then hits a corner splash. Evans throws her then hits a corner spear. Evans hits a double underhook suplex. Jade gets her headscissors blocked and turned into a side slam. Evans hits a samoan drop. Evans hits a full-nelson slam and wins.

Thoughts:
It was a squash with an obvious outcome here. Evans didn't have the most impressive outing here but it's not like she botched anything. It seems like she's being groomed for bigger things.

Masha Slamovich is looking at her title in the back. Jordynne Grace comes up to her. She says they need to do it one more time at turning Point. Masha says let's leave no doubt and make it a 2/3 falls match. Grace says she loves the idea and says we can show who is really on top of their game.

Trent Seven, Jake Something and Hammerstone vs Ace Austin and The Hardy Boys

Ace has Jeff Hardy facepaint on that truly looks freaky. Matt has some Jeff facepaint on too. Hammer back elbows Matt then takes a back body drop. Matt bangs Hammer's head off the buckles. Jake charges in then Matt bangs his head off the buckles. Hammer and Jake get their heads banged together but no sell it and double clothesline Matt.

Matt jawbreakers Hammer and hits forearms on Trent. Trent takes a double back elbow then a flipping senton + fist drop combo. Jeff shoulders Trent over then legdrops him. Trent punches Jeff then hits an emerald flowsion. Jake chases Jeff around then Matt clips Jake from behind.

Jake takes boots from The Hardy's. Jeff pendulum double boots Jake in the corner for 2. Jake misses corner charge. Hammer splashes Jake on accident. Jake jumps off Matt's back and elbows all 3 opponents in the corner. Jeff then splashes all 3 off Matt's back. The heels avoid triple twists of fate and go out.

We go to break and return. Ace and Trent are down and looking for tags. Ace step up enzugiri's him and nearly gets the tag but The Hardy's are pulled down from the apron. Ace takes a double chokeslam. Trent rainmakers Ace for 2. Ace hits like a flatliner out of a pumphandle but it looks like he hurt himself more than Trent.

Jeff atomic drops Trent then basement dropkicks him. Jeff elbow drops him for 2. Jeff russian legsweeps Trent. Matt hits a double ddt on Hammer and Jake. The faces hit triple twists of fate and Ace gets a 2 count on Trent. Jeff goes up top and is stopped.

Ace jumps off Matt's back to the outside onto his opponents. He gets caught then Jeff top rope dives on all of them. Trent takes a stunner into a neckbreaker. Jeff hits a top rope swanton on Trent. Ace is pulled off the pin attempt. The Hardy's hit stereo twists of fates on the outside. Trent low blows Ace and hits a burning hammer for the win.

The heels beat up on the faces after. KUSHIDA and The Rascalz make the save.

Thoughts: This one got cut up by the breaks pretty badly. They tried and Ace had fun doing The Hardy's spots. It was okay but not great. I was surprised it went as long as it did. Trent winning was likely to establish his new heel run.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual average TNA episode. There was nothing must see here. I liked the opener and the main best. There were a lot of people who were either in limited roles or weren't on the show period so the show lacked a bit of star power. I'd give the show a 5 out of 10 overall and I don't really think you need to see this.

Thoughts: The faces didn't have much of a chance here and were mostly dominated from the start. Rian got to do a little more than usual and showed a bit of fire. It was an average match.

Poi takes a half-nelson slam + facebuster combo. Kid top rope moonsaults Poi for 2. Kid tiger suplexes Poi and we go to a 20 minute draw.

Thoughts: Kid worked Poi's leg for a while but Poi ended up forgetting about it and it played no role in the match. It probably would have been okay without that but that definitely brought this one down. I wish Kid would stop trying to do knee work in matches because this happens all the time. This one was fast paced with a lot of flying.

Kid has words for Poi after and points at her title.

Kog holds AZM on her shoulder and Haz facebusters AZM. AZM takes a nasty fall down. Kog northern lights suplexes Miyu for 2. Miyu is held in the air for a Kog neckbreaker. Kog top rope splashes Miyu and wins.

Thoughts:
It was people coming and out at their leisure with no tags. It was fast paced with lots of double teams. AZM took a horrible facebuster while on an opponent's shoulders where she went head first into the mat. It was fine to watch but if you are looking for face/heel work or great logic, this wasn't it. This was one of Miyu's better showings so far in her career.

Haz and Kog are given some kind of prize for winning then talk on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: It was a longer Stardom show. There was nothing must see on it. The undercard trios match with Tam was probably my favorite thing on here and I thought some of the rookies like Sayaka and Ranna had a decent showings. I would only give this a 5 out of 10 and wouldn't recommend it.

Thoughts: They went to their 19th draw here. It wasn't awful but it was a rookies match and with them only being allowed to do basic things, it's not super interesting. I'm not a big fan of these young lion openers going so long.

Alex Zayne, Katsuya Murashima and Ryusuke Taguchi vs Jeff Cobb, Jakob Austin Young and Callum Newman

Alex flips over Cobbs back then hits chops and forearms. Alex hits dropkicks then hurricanrana's him. Jeff just kind of runs out of it and shoulders Alex over. Jake gets in and boots him out of the corner. Jake 2nd rope dropkicks Alex for 2. Newman gets in and sleepers Alex. He then stomps him.

TI = Taiji Isimori

We got heel vs heel and stablemate vs stablemate action here. TI avoids corner attacks to start and sends Sanada out. Gabe is sent out and Sanada pulls TI out. Gedo slaps Chase and rolls him up for 2. Gedo cradles him then eye rakes him. Gedo eye rakes TI as well. TI pump kicks Gedo and Chase running knees Gedo for 2.

Chase pumping knees Gedo and gets the pin.

Thoughts: It was another short one. It was all swearing here with everyone yelling f-words at each other. They did rough each other up a little here and maybe got the idea somewhat right. The match didn't get enough time though and was just average.

Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) & Shoma Kato vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji)

Kato dropkicks Yota. Goto gets in and shoulders over people. Yota then boots him. Goto spinning heel kicks Yota in the corner then backdrops him. Yota curbstomps Goto into the mat. A bunch of people come in and Goto lariats over Shingo. Kato flying forearms Bushi. Kato crabs Bushi and Bushi ropebreaks.

Bushi dropkicks Kato.  Yota taks a superkick from Yoshi then a headhunter + russian legsweep combo. Shingo lariats Goto and Yoshi over. Bushi backdrops Kato and submits him.

Thoughts
: It didn't get that much time. What we got was okay though and they tried here. We had a lot of fast paced action in this one.

Shingo stands on Kato after and boots him.

Shota Umino, Tiger Mask & Tomoaki Honma vs. TMDK (Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr.)

This the last 6-man of the day, thankfully. Oiwa wristlocks Honma. Oiwa hits forearms and gets double chopped over. Kosei takes a double shoulderblock. Honma misses a headbutt drop on Oiwa. Kosei chops Honma in the corner then running kicks him.

Zack cravates Honma then twists his neck with his feet. Zack headscissors Honma. Honma hits a flatliner/ddt combo on Zack and Oiwa. Shota running back elbows Zack. Shota then fisherman suplexes him. Zack armbars Shota.

Shota dropkicks Zack then Zack PK's him. Tiger crucifixes Oiwa then armbars him. Tiger buzzsaw kicks Oiwa for 2. Oiwa sleeprs Tiger then spinning lariats him for the win.

Thoughts:
It was another short one. Tiger went down to practically nothing here, just taking Oiwa's spinning lariat. They focused a lot on Zack vs Shota and nobody really cared.

Zack and Shota go face to face after.

World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - Hiroshi Tanahashi & Jado vs. The Natural Classics (Stevie Filip & Tome Filip)

Stevie and Tome trade forearms on their knees. They get up and trade. Tana dragon screws him. Jado and Tome get in and Jado shoulders him over. Jado lariats Tome over. Jado hits a bridging ddt on Tome for 2. Stevie superkicks Tana then Tana slingblades him. Jado and Tana put on crossfaces. Jado is put in a figure four and Tome taps him out.

Thoughts:
I guess it worked as Jado had his leg worked on and was submitted via the figure four. I really don't think Jado should be going even with these opponents. The match wasn't anything too special with Tana and Jado being limited and The Filip's just kind of being average.

World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - United Empire (Great-O-Khan & HENARE) vs. Just 4 Guys (Taichi & TAKA Michinoku)

Taka michinoku drivers Khan then Khan takes a double superkick. Tai takes his pants off then superkicks Khan. Taka facelocks Hen and Tai hits an air raid crash on Khan to win.

Thoughts: I'm not a big fan of Khan and Henare losing here as Taka has been booked like a total weakling most of the year and Henare/Khan shouldn't take a lot of losses. It was acceptable but nothing too memorable.  The crowd didn't care much at all about this one.

World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - Oleg Boltin & Toru Yano vs. House Of Torture (EVIL & Ren Narita)

Yano gets hit before intros are over and Evil throws vinegar or water at him. Yano is sent into the rails and the seats. Togo then knocks Yano into the ref and the ref goes out. Yano gets stomped on by the heels.

Yano takes corner attacks then a 2nd rope chop to the crotch for 2. Oleg hits a double dropkick then Yano clips Evil. Yano backrolls Evil and knocks the ref over in the process. Togo chokes Yano with a weapon. Yano takes a magic killer and is pinned.

Thoughts: This was the usual HoT trash. HoT should have been DQ'd multiple times but the ref let it go like always. The heels needing weapons and interference to beat Yano didn't exactly put them over much here.

World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - Los Ingobernables de Japon (Hiromu Takahashi & Tetsuya Naito) vs. TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste)

HT evades a double team and takes a shoulderblock from Mikey. Mikey is pulled out and sent into the rails. HT flying crossbodies Mikey then running crossbodies Shane. Mikey runs through a double lariat then is tripped into a baseball slide.

Naito kind of hits a destino on Mikey. Hiromu running lariats Shane and Naito rolls up Shane for 2. Naito does an assisted tornado ddt. Naito then hits destino on Shane and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't much of note. Naito's struggling to move around and commentary does a poor job of hiding it. It was a slower paced match where a lot of the bigger spots didn't look that good. It wasn't awful and was another average match.

Naito then talks on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: It was an average show as expected and was not must see. The teams in this tournament are weak and because of it, the matches are weak as well. I don't think many people really put out their best effort on this one either. The undercard matches have too many people in them and don't get enough time so they haven't been that good either. I would not recommend this show at all and would just give it a 4 out of 10. This is going to be a tough tournament to sit through and I'm not excited for Night 3.

We are in Reading, PA.

We get a November Rain video package on various events that have lead up to Full Gear.

Ricochet, Will Ospreay, Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs vs Lance Archer, Konosuke Takeshita, Brian Cage and Kyle Fletcher

This is Mark Davis' first match back after injury. He's still wearing United Empire gear. The fight starts in the entrance way. Cage and Kyle get thrown into the rails. The match then officially starts with KT having Mark in a side headlock.

Mark and KT shoulder battle. KT is caught in the air and dropped backwards. Mark then sentons him. Ric fosbury flops outside and Cage lariats Mark. Hobbs and Kyle fight on the buckles but Hobbs is pulled down. Lance puts Hobbs between the steps and the side of the ring then Will is thrown into the steps.

Lance rams Ric into the steps and Hobbs gets checked out then walked to the back. Will tries to follow Hobbs and is confused. Ric hurricanrana's Lance then springboards into him, getting knocked away. Lance does like a crackerjack on Will as Will stands on the ropes. Ric is caught off a springboard and chokeslammed onto his partners outside.

Will and Kyle go at it. They trade forearms. Will takes a superkick then hits a standing spanish fly. Will hidden blade's Mark on accident then Kyle topes Will. KT pumping knees Mark and pins him.

Thoughts: It's Mark Davis so who cares, but Mark really shouldn't be losing in his return match back. It was a fast paced 8-man with lots of big moves and people coming in and out. I have no idea what the Hobbs stuff was about as it didn't play any factor here. It was okay but the wrong choice for an opener.

The Death Riders talk from the back of a truck or a closet. Mox calls OC a snake. He says OC is a threat to his people when the bell rings at Full Gear and he says he will destroy him. He says OC may make it to Full Gear in tact but Darby's body is up for grabs. Claudio says he wants to end Darby tonight.

Darby talks from the loading deck. He says Mox pulled the trigger on Bryan's career. He says The Death Riders will have their day and today is Claudio's day.

Renee interviews The Hurt Syndicate as they arrive in a car. MVP says he has a special treat and it's an announcement that Bobby Lashley will be in action tonight. Swerve then nails Lashley and runs off.

Thoughts: If you are going to use Lashley on TV for the first time, you should build the match up and not do something random like this.

Adam Cole comes out to talk. He's using that stupid spray tan stuff but forgot to put it on his hands, so he's two different colors. He says he wishes he was getting his hands on MJF on Saturday but he's not. He says MJF succeeded but so did Roderick Strong. He said he and Strong want to give MJF the whooping of a lifetime.

Kyle O'Reilly comes out. Kyle said their had their second match ever against each other 14 years ago here. He says being associated with him has given him some highs and lows. He says the crusade with MJF has to end before someone gets hurt. He says he doesn't have a good feeling about any of this.

Kyle says MJF is three steps ahead of him and is pulling everyone's strings. He said dealing with MJF is like playing with fire and he doesn't want his friend to get hurt. He says MJF is more of an evil b@stard than Cole will be and says that's a good thing.

Orange Cassidy is in the back. He says he will make an example out of Wheeler Yuta tonight. He says he will beat Moxley alone this Saturday. Briscoe, Romero and Ishii walk in. Mark says he's here for OC. OC says no one else will get hurt. Mark says they got his back and are ready to scrap. OC makes Mark promise to stay away and he agrees. OC says Mox will need all the help he can get at Full Gear.

Kris Statlander vs Hikaru Shida

They shake hands. Kris wristlocks her. Shida headflips out and hammrlocks her. Kris side headlock takeovers her. Shida headscissors her. Kris throws her down off the waistlock. Shida armdrags her. Shida flying knees her in the corner then hits corner punches.

Kris legsweeps her then standing moonsaults her for 2. Shida flying headscissors Kris and Kris cartwheels out. Kris shoulders her over. Kris pulls Shida's arms back. Shida straightjacket chokes her then 2nd rope dropkicks her.

Shida lariats her. Kris does a reverse slam on her then Shida backslides her. Shida hits a falcon arrow for 2. Shida flying knees her then germans her. Kris hits a single leg package tombstone and wins.

Thoughts:
It was an okay match here with the two hitting a lot of high impact moves on each other. Kris was the favorite in this one.

Mercedes Mone comes out after with Kamille. Mone says to say hello to your CEO. Mone says The 76ers have had another embarrassing season and shouts out The Celtics. She says she's rarely impressed by her competition but Kris had a good win tonight. She says she has held the TBS Title longer than Kris. She say she won't lose as she is The CEO.

Kamille gets in ring, tries to hit Kris then is hit by Shida and Kris. Kamille then thrown out. Mone jumps on Kris from behind and can't hit the backstabber. Kris then hits a tombstone off of it after having trouble doing the spot.

The Hurt Syndicate are in the back. They grab someone who looks like Swerve but isn't. They realize it's not Swerve and beat him up anyway.

Jay White says him and Page are on the same path, going for the same prize. Page asks if Jay knows who he is. He says they named the PPV after him. Jay says he will make him tap and Page says he can't make him tap out if his @ss depended on it. Jay says he has always been ahead of Page.

Bobby Lashley vs Joe Keys and Cheeseburger

We got Team ROH here, eh? Bobby throws Cheese in then hits a corner spear. Bobby does a flatliner + ddt combo. Keys is thrown out and Bobby lariats Cheese. Bobby hits a dominator on Cheese for 2. Joe hits some shots on Bobby. Bobby spinebusters Joe. Bobby spears Joe then taps him out with the full-nelson.

Thoughts:
It was a quick squash as expected here and wasn't much of note.

Swerve Strickland's music hits and Prince Nana comes out with a chair. Swerve appears from under the ring and hits Bobby from behind with a chain. He then hits MVP and Shelton with it. Swerve hits a house call kick on Bobby then top rope double stomps him.

Renee interviews Mina Shirakawa and Mariah May. May says no champ deserves a celebration more than her. She says her reign will be historic. She says in her division, you hold the title or die. Mina says she's proud of her and will give her a celebration she will never forget. May says they will turn Rampage into Glampage. They then shake their chests.

Darby Allin vs Claudio Castagnoli

Darby is seated as the bell rings. CC comes out alone. Darby side headlocks him then springboard lariats him. Darby comes off the 2nd rope and is caught. Darby back rolls him the bottom rope twisting springboard crossbodies him. Darby hits a top rope coffin drop but is caught and thrown. CC pounces Darby into the rails then euros him over it.

CC lifts Darby like a suplex and carries him up the steps, throwing him into the ring. We go to PiP break and return. CC throw Darby into the corner then throws him into the rails. CC throws Darby into the ring from the outside.

Darby bites CC outside then hits a tope. Darby then hits another tope. Darby is crotched up top. CC hits a top rope karelin's lift for 2. Darby rolls him up and they botch a spot. Darby hits a code red for 2.

CC hits euros and punches to the gut. CC facekicks him off the apron. CC giant swings him into the steps outside. CC throws Darby over the commentary table. CC gorilla presses Darby on the commentary table onto another table.

Darby somehow gets in before being counted out. CC flips him with a lariat and wins.

Thoughts:
This took a surprising turn here with CC just deciding to beat the crap out of Darby in the last part of this. It could have been a little better and faster but I liked it. Darby took a bunch of nasty looking bumps as usual and really took a whooping here.

Renee interviews Private Party. They say the odds are stacked against them at Full Gear. Zay says they will leave the show tag champs. The Costco Guys come in and say they have a big announcement coming up next. Private Party then poses with them.

We see MJF arrive somewhere in a car next to a homeless person. He throws a coin and tells him to go get it. MJF says Roderick Strong has been through a lot. He says trauma is a result of powerlessness and fear. He says Cole makes him feel the positive things he lacks. He says Cole is a fraud and a liar. He says he's happy Strong won and says he will send him back to where he belongs in the trailer park. He says Strong will wish his mother hadn't shot his father but instead shot him.

Renee interviews The Costco Guys. AJ says this started with QT when he threw the double chunk chocolate chip cookies. He says his strategy is to bring the boom. He says when he powerbombs QT, there's only one guy we want to ring the bell and it's The Rizzler. They then say "bring the boom".

Roderick Strong, Bennett and Taven are interviewed in the entrance way. Strong says he has not slept since Wednesday. He says he feels like a kid on Christmas morning and finally gets his hands on MJF. Strong says he heard stuff about his parents all of his life. He says he feels sorry for MJF. He says he has earned everything he has and says MJF has been spoonfed everything.

Strong tells MJF to look in the mirror and think of the things he did to people. He tells him to realize that he will pay for all of his sins when the bell rings. He says he will go to sleep knowing he broke his back and left him humbled.

We see more footage of Menard and Garcia capturing Jack Perry on Saturday. Jack is tied to a chair and Garcia throws water at him. Garcia says all he wants to do is wrestle but the place is full of savages. Jack says everyone has a code and cares until they have to sacrifice. Garcia says Jack doesn't know what he sacrified to be here. Garcia says he has something for him and Jack asks what he's gonna do. Garcia grabs a crowbar and smashes up Jack's bus. Jack laughs and asks if that's it. Garcia then says let's get out of here.

Thoughts: I have no idea what this was all about and this wasn't good.

Renee does a contract signing for Ishii and Jericho's ROH Title match in a locker room. Chris says his legal team has to check the contract before signing it. He says to wait here until then. Chris then goes up to his picture on the wall. Ishii follows him. Chris tries to put things and people in Ishii's way. They go up steps and Chris heads through concessions and down to ringside.

Chris and Ishii get in the ring. Chris says he would sign the contract but he doesn't have a pen. Ishii gives him a pen. The Learning Tree then attacks Ishii. Chris goes to stab him with a pen then The Conglomeration comes out. The two groups fight. Rocky topes Bill outside and Mark hits a jay driller on Keith. Ishii brainbusters Chris. Ishii signs the contract.

Renee interviews Jamie Hayter. She says she's baffled as to why Julia Hart interrupted her. She says they never spoke or wrestled. She then gets cut off with another Julia Hart video. The video says it's time to come home and says The House is Hart's foundation. We then see her shooting arrows.

Wheeler Yuta vs Orange Cassidy

I would rather watch anything else than this. Yuta shotgun dropkicks OC. OC bangs Yuta's head off the buckles then he backslides him. OC cradles him and gets another pin attempt in. OC hits a stunner. OC topes Yuta. Yuta brainbusters OC on the top of the rail. Yuta pushes OC's head into the exposed buckle connector. Yuta ddt's OC on the apron.

We go to PiP break and return. They trade forearms. Yuta bites him and OC hits a kick to the head. OC PK's him then suplexes him. OC hits a german then running double chops him. Yuta angle slams him.

OC splits Yuta's fingers. OC hits a soul foot then michinoku drivers him for 2. OC back rolls him and Yuta tombstones him for 2. Yuta does a cattle mutilation. Yuta goes for a chair, OC rolls him up and wins.

Thoughts: The ending was really weak here and didn't really fit the match. They did this one mostly right too with them being aggressive with each other. I doubt it drew any ratings though.

Pac facekicks OC after and the other Death Riders come out. OC gets duct taped and Mox punches OC out. The heels push OC around and OC does his weak kicks for some reason. Mox then forearms OC over. The heels then leave and finally The Conglomeration comes out to help OC. OC then puts his hands in his pockets and puts his sunglasses on.

Overall thoughts: It was a really weak Dynamite. The show is totally lacking star power and go home shows tend to be weaker anyway. In-ring wise the show was fine but there's not a lot of interest going on storyline wise and it's really hard to care about this show. I would give this a 5 out of 10 and would not recommend it.
